Genitourinary pathology: Our laboratory offers comprehensive microscopic evaluation of genitourinary diseases by fellowship-trained genitourinary pathologists. Biopsy and resection specimens such as prostatectomy, TURP, orchiectomy, and other types of specimens can be examined by our pathologists. The evaluation may include immunohistochemical stains if needed to identify small foci of atypia or cancer. The pathology report provides the details and images to make informed clinical decisions, such as Gleason score for prostate cancer and Fuhrman grade for renal cell carcinoma. Consultations for difficult cases are also offered.
