Dr. Ekaterina Castano is the Medical Director of Focus Pathology Medical Laboratory.

She completed her Undergraduate studies cum laude at Columbia University in New York City followed by additional medical training and dual Renal and Genitourinary fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Castano is the author of scientific articles published in peer-reviewed journals. After working as a Medical Director of a busy Nephrocor division of Bostwick Laboratories, Dr. Castano is now offering pathology services at Focus Pathology.

Anthony Castano is the Chief Financial Officer of the Accounting department at Focus Pathology Medical Laboratory PLLC.

Prior to working at Focus Pathology Medical Laboratory, Mr. Castano’s experience covers over 30 years in the Banking and Finance Industry, responsibilities for firms in the Investment Banking, Hedge Fund and Private Equity Industry.

Mr. Castano is a graduate of Pace University with a degree in Accounting and Information Systems.

Dr. Douglas Charney is an experienced renal pathologist with expertise in general and transplant Renal Pathology. Dr. Charney obtained his Renal Pathology fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Charney has held several academic appointments in New York Metropolitan area and is an author of scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Rudolph Castellani is a consultant for Neuropathology cases. Dr. Castellani is an expert in the pathologic diagnoses of the neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Castellani received his Neuropathology fellowship training followed by post-fellowship research at Case Western Reserve University and has held major academic appointments in the field of Neuropathology. Dr. Castellani has published more than 150 scientific articles, had participated in many research projects and received research grants.
